THEODORE soaps are made of natural wholesome ingredients; therefore, the law of nature also applies to the products (refers to the 2nd law of thermodynamics description that no material things are eternal, everything ages and wears out). The natural colours and the scent of the soap may fade over time, so we recommend using the soap within six months of purchase, to enjoy the luxuriousness of the soap whilst at its prime time.

The natural ingredients in this soap combine to make it soft due to the content of natural occurring glycerine. To ensure the soap bar remains hard and long-lasting, between uses, please drain your bar well in the perforated soap dish or store it away from the shower stream to prevent the soap from getting soft or mushy.

All soaps containing natural clays and natural colourants could potentially stain the basin/ bath or bathroom tiles, however, the soap residue can be easily removed with the scourer.

Although the soap may not necessarily be “spoilt” after six months of purchase, however, you may notice changes as the soap ages with the colour and scent fading, or just like fine wine, it gets better with age. As the moisture evaporated out of the soap bar, it becomes slightly smaller and harder. The harder (older) the soap, the longer it lasts, the more lather it produces and even gentler on your skin. As long as the soap does not smell rancid, it is still good to use.

To maintain and care for your soap, please keep your natural handmade soap in a dry, cool place away from sunlight, heat and humidity. 

THEODORE natural soaps are mildly scented with herbs, dried flowers and essential oils, to provide a nice subtle aromatherapy experience as you bathe or shower. The soap will leave you with the sense of feeling clean and refresh with no overpowering your senses, whilst still respecting the natural body scent and not interfering with the aftershave or added perfume.

Due to the handmade nature, the shape, weight and colouring may vary from bar to bar and from the pictures shown on the website, however, each product contains at least the stated quantity in the packaging.
